Terms of Service
Last updated: July 27, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the pugworksservices.com website and the home-maintenance services provided by Pug Works Services LLC (“Pug Works Services,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them carefully. By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or purchasing services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. If you are agreeing on behalf of a household or business, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
2. Our services
Pug Works Services provides recurring, preventative home-maintenance services — such as seasonal HVAC filter changes, gutter and vent cleaning, water-heater flushes, detector testing, and similar upkeep — typically delivered through an annual plan of scheduled visits. The specific services, frequency, and price for your home are set out in the plan or quote we provide to you.
3. Eligibility & service area
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase services. We currently serve Cleburne, Texas and the surrounding area (generally within about 40 miles). Service availability depends on your location, and we may decline or discontinue service in areas we cannot reasonably reach.
4. Assessments, quotes & pricing
We typically begin with a free, no-obligation in-home assessment to confirm details about your home, such as the number of HVAC units, water heaters, and detectors. Quotes and displayed prices are estimates based on the information available and are not final until confirmed in a written plan or invoice. Prices, plans, and service areas may change over time. Any taxes that apply will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
5. Service plans & scheduling
Annual maintenance plans consist of a set of scheduled visits across the service year. We will coordinate visit timing with you and give reasonable notice. You agree to provide safe and timely access to your property so we can perform the work; if we cannot access the property at a scheduled time, we may need to reschedule, and repeated missed visits may affect your plan. We may reschedule visits due to weather, safety, staffing, or other circumstances. Unless cancelled as described below, annual plans renew for successive service years.
6. Payments & billing
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. By providing a payment method, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge the applicable fees for the services and plan you select, including recurring annual charges for subscription plans until the plan is cancelled. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, pause services, or suspend the plan. Any applicable taxes will be added as required by law.
7. Cancellation & refunds
You may cancel your plan as described in your plan details or by contacting us; there is no long-term lock-in beyond your current service year. If you sell your home or move, please see the options described in our FAQ. Where a refund is due — for example, for prepaid visits we did not provide — we will refund the value of the remaining, unperformed services. Completed work and services already provided are non-refundable except as required by law.
8. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your property;
- Provide safe, lawful access to the areas and equipment to be serviced, and secure pets during visits;
- Inform us of any known hazards, defects, or special conditions at the property; and
- Maintain valid contact and payment information.
9. Scope of work & workmanship
We perform the preventative maintenance described in your plan with reasonable care and skill, and include industry-standard materials as part of your plan price. Maintenance reduces the risk of problems but cannot prevent every issue, and we do not guarantee that equipment or systems will not fail. Work outside the scope of your plan — such as repairs, replacements, or installations — may require a separate agreement and additional charges, which we will discuss with you first. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, latent defects, or the acts of third parties.
10. Customer portal accounts
If you create an account in our online customer portal, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that are misused or that violate these Terms.
11. Intellectual property
The Pug Works Services name, logo, website content, and materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our permission, except as needed to use our website and services for their intended purpose.
12. Disclaimers
Our website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our maintenance services are not a substitute for professional inspections, repairs, or emergency services that fall outside the scope of your plan.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pug Works Services will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or property, arising out of or related to your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the services giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or our services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before starting any formal proceeding, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version on this page. Your continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
