Pug Works Services performs different types of work for different types of customers.
The two categories of work we see the most are Repair and Inspection Work and Project Work.
Repair and Inspection Work
Approximately 75% of the work our company performs will fall into this category.
This type of work is usually completed within a specific service time window of 1 - 4 hours.
Examples of this type of work would include:
If your works falls into this category, you can expect our company to assign a time slot for your service.
Our technician will report to your site within the agreed upon time window and will, in most cases, complete
the work the same day. If the work is more extensive than originally planned, the technician will coordinate
with the customer to find a time and date to return and complete the work.
Project Work
Approximately 25% of the work the company performs will fall into this category.
This type of work is usually completed over several days and follows a more formal Scope of Work
process to ensure the company understands the specifics of the work our customers require. The
Scope of Work and Project Plan allows both the customer and our company to clearly understand
the work needed, project timeline, and expected costs.
How Pug Works Services LLC Manages Projects
Pug Works Services LLC is a company that provides services delivered as defined by our project documents.
If you are working with our company on a project, the customer's ability to return or cancel the project are unique to the
project documents signed before the work started. Please refer to your specific project documents for details.
As an example we have included the following so our customer can understand our default customer engagement.
Please know that, in certain circumstances, such as Requests For Proposals (RFP) and large commercial work, we may charge an assessment
fee if a large amount of hours are needed to complete this phase. If an assessment fee is required, we will inform
the customer of this before any Project Design begins.
Project Evaluation
The project evaluation stage is normally completed as no cost to home owners and small businesses. We will gladly walk
your site, take measurements, create initial rough drawings, and deliver an initial estimate to complete your requested work.
Project Design
The project design phase allows our experts to properly document and design the work we discussed in the Project Evaluation Stage.
The results of this phase will include detailed plans or drawings, a complete list of parts, an estimated timeline needed to complete
the work, and other contract documents that clearly detail the project our company will deliver.
Initial 50% Payment
The initial payment is normally 50% of the project cost unless otherwise stated in the Project Design documents. Pug Works Service LLC will not
begin work or order parts needed for the project until this fee is received. This fee is non-refundable as we will begin to spend
our money on your behalf to purchase the equipment, parts, permits, and other items needed to deliver your project.
Project Delivery
The Project Delivery phase is the time our staff will be onsite installing your new systems. We will schedule with our clients to ensure we have access
to the locations of your home or business required to complete the work. We must have the owner of the home, manager of the business, or
a designated adult (18 years or older) on site when our crews are working.
Project Completion and Inspection
When a project is completed, the manager of our installation crew will need to walk the entire site with the customer to ensure
all work is complete. During this phase we want to ensure our work is completed per the Project Design Documents, Verify the work
site is clean and no safety hazards exist. If your project required trenching or other digging, we will point out all areas and ensure the
client is aware of any soil mounding or other trip hazards that may exist. We will also provide basic operational instruction to the customer
on any equipment that may need programming or seasonal changes. At the end of this phase, the customer will be required to sign
the project completion document acknowledging the successful completion of all work included in the Project Design Document.
Final 50% Payment
When the Project Design Document is signed and recorded with our company, we will issue the final bill for any remaining amount due. This
is normally the final 50% of the contract value but it may vary depending on the size of the project and any specific terms that may have been
created during the Project Design phase.
